Before departing for Oceanside, we stopped by Joshua Tree National Park early in the morning. It was empty; we basically had it to ourselves.
This past week, Chris and I did a new trail in the heart of Pasadena called Eaton Canyon. It’s a rather heavily populated hike that features a waterfall at the end of the trail.
A few days ago, Chris and I hiked up to the abandoned ruins of Big Horn Mine. The trailhead began at the Vincent Gulch Divide parking lot, off the CA-2 highway.
A few weeks back, I had planned another hike with my aunt. When we did the Monrovia Canyon Hike back in May, we were informed by the ranger that there was another trailhead nearby, which wasn’t as busy as the waterfall hike.
Saturday’s adventure: first time hiking during the fall season, and grabbing some cheap breakfast at IKEA! Worth waking up early for!
