For ages, my aunt and I have been planning to go hiking. When I say ages, I mean, ageeeeees. We finally went today on Memorial Day since we didn’t have to work.
Breakfast is easily my second favorite meal of the day, after brunch that is. Bea Bea’s (pronounced bee bees) got it right when they claimed that breakfast is, well, everything.
A few weeks ago, my mom was planning on taking my dad to date night to see U2 live at the Rose Bowl. What was originally planned as date day turned into family night at the Rose Bowl Stadium.
I love finding new places to eat. The less known, the better! With that in mind, I decided to start a new series on my blog called, Foodie Files, where I write about the new restaurants I stumble upon. Really unique, I know.
It’s been really gloomy these past few days here in Los Angeles, so I figured I’d share these photos and throw it back (#tbt, anyone?) to sunny days at Crystal Cove State Park.
On our second day, we drove over to Balboa Peninsula where we went stand-up paddle boarding (SUP). We rented the boards from Paddle Board Newport Beach through their Groupon offer.
Believe me when I say Newport Coast is amazing because it really is. We spent our first day taking in all the sites and lounging by the pool.
Visited the Getty with my cousins before we headed over to the OC to soak up some sunshine. Really cool museum with a nice view of Los Angeles.
Meeting up with some of my previous coworkers. Checking in on my baby succulents. Sharing my poke bowl and all of its perfection.
Talking about my succulent arrangements, afternoon walks with Chris and how my job life’s been going lately. Nothing too exciting, but hey, read along.
Last Monday, I was in Glendale to finish up some job-related stuff. I opened the Yelp app on my phone and discovered there was an Eggslut location just a block away! After begging Chris to try it with me, we made our way to the place.
After constantly changing plans, we finally headed up northern California to visit my aunt and her family. We only spent a good 24 hours but it was a fun trip!
