Eats with Nancy

Back in June and July, I was lucky enough to have met up with Nancy! We hit up two new places – Neighbor’s Tea House and The Pond.

Neighbor’s Tea House

We had originally planned to have dinner together; however, my parents decided to have dinner at the last minute so Nancy improvised and we ended up at this little teahouse in Rosemead. I got their taro milk tea (my go-to drink everywhere, anywhere) and their grilled cheese sandwich. Their products were priced well and they offered a little Instagram wall for your drinks. Downside – the parking lot was very small and they only accepted cash. After catching up, Nancy and I made a quick stop to Daiso where she convinced me to buy every page flag we walked past by!

The Pond

Soooo, I was stoked for this place. My brothers had been to this little ice cream shop a while back and I wanted desperately to try out their charcoal cone (yes, I’m that kind of person). Their ice cream wasn’t too bad but my gut suffered for the next few days – made for an interesting story, I suppose. Like the tea house, they also offered a wall for Instagram photos.

This post makes me really want to try taro milk tea, but I’m not sure where to find it near me. I’ll seek it out on my next big city trip! Great photographs, as always. It was nice to read about a shared adventure of two bloggers I follow!

I love how all of these places are adopting the gorgeous floral backdrops! PERFECT FOR THE GRAM! Hehe, Daiso is the best. I love how they have stationery for so cheap!

Bruh, I am never going back to The Pond… At least their stuff is cute, so I give them that! YAY I can’t wait until our next adventure!!! SOON PLS, EENA!!

Ooh I’ve never tried taro milk tea! It’s such a shame about the ice cream because it looks so good! I love Nancy’s blog and it’s so cute that you had these catch ups!

I’m all about the Instagram wall concept! No one near me would have such an amazing feature. It sounds like you had a great time. Those cones look incredible! I love Nancy’s blog, it’s great that you had a little real life time too x

Haha, I love that both these places had an ‘Instagram wall’ – that’s so interesting and funny! I haven’t seen anything like that around here. Sounds like you found some lovely places to go. The ice-cream does look interesting – it’s a shame you suffered though 🙁 thanks for sharing!

Wow, the pictures look great!! The charcoal cone looks very interesting, not sure how I would like it though haha! And I definitely would love to try taro milk tea, I’ve never had that before. I have had a taro doughnut once in Hawaii, though, and that was amazinggg, so I’ll gladly try anything with taro now 🙂

    Lovely post!

This is such a lovely post Eena, and so nice you get to meet up with Nancy too! I’m loving the Instagram wall background, it makes everything look very photogenic! It’s a shame you had a bad experience after eating the ice cream the next day but at least you got a pretty picture, he he. Thank you for sharing, can’t wait to read more Eena & Nancy adventures! <3 xx

One of the things on my summer bucket list was to try out a crazy cone of ice-cream with many many toppings. Looks like you could cross that one of your list. Looks yummy!

You and Nancy both always seem to go to the coolest places. I’m jealous! That ice cream looks delicious! I don’t eat it much because it also doesn’t always sit well with my stomach. I’m curious about those charcoal cones though.

You two are so cute! Those ice creams look absolutely amazing, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black ice cream cone before?
