Eensy Bits – August

August 9, 2020

Eensy Bits (named after a forgotten blog) are entries where I share photos or thoughts that never get its own blog post. I write about little bits about what I’ve been up to!

Boba Ice Cream

I officially reached the phase of the lockdown where I divulged in boba ice cream. I’ve seen numerous people talk about it so I was pretty stoked to find it stocked in my local Asian supermarket. I actually enjoyed the bars and loved how the consistency of the boba in it tastes just like in the drinks. A little pricey for $7.99 with only four bars in the box. ★★★★☆

New Family Members

A few months ago, my parents welcome Ryu, a red sesame Shiba Inu, to the family! This past month, they welcomed Nala, a Rhodesian Ridgeback into their home. They’re both really fun-loving and super adorable. They also have their own Instagram page if you want to keep up with these cuties!

Top of the Morn’ Farms

I recently discovered a local coffee shop that serves the best iced mango tea! I’ve been by several times and their mango tea is amazing. If you know me, you know I’m a sucker for anything iced green tea and anything mango tea. Plus, the prices are great – $3.00 for a 24oz? Count me in!

What have you been up to lately? Let me know! See you on the next adventure!

OoOOHOHOHOOH BOBA ICE CREAM!! It was so hard finding it when it first came out but I finally tried it out during the beginning of the lockdown. I really love how the boba itself isn’t all hard and everything. It is chewy. I probably had so many that I am tired of it at this point LOL. Welp. I love your family’s new doggies! Both are so cute hehe. Love that you got to support a local business too! That is super affordable! Have a great week!!

The pups are both adorable! Congratulations to the family… It’s always such an exciting time bringing home a new family member, isn’t it? I’m sure that there will be many fun stories coming out of life with two young pups running around! Both of our dogs are older now (8 and 12) and there’s never a dull day here! Lol

That ice cream looks beyond delicious; I love a frozen treat, though the heat has sadly left me behind and given way to chiller days. I have never had mango iced before, but I love mangos so that is something I want to try/make first time I get.
    Thanks for sharing!

awww the dogs look so cute!! I’ve just been busy working – the UK is in a weird state of kind of a pandemic / everyone else has forgotten and they keep changing international travel requirements, not fun when my boyfriend lives in Belgium :'( Went from planning our trip to Canada next month to the possibility of him coming to me and quarantining – but at least we’ll be together!

Your parents dogs are so adorable.

I didn’t know Boba bars existed but I will be looking for them. I love trying different food products. Because of covid, I like to keep dessert treats in the house instead of going out for them.
