Before temperatures started dropping and life got busier than usual, Chris and I managed to squeeze in two fall hikes! We tried to do Lakes Trail in Sequoia National Park but soon realized we were very out-of-shape and turned around.
The second trail we did, was Buena Vista Peak in Kings Canyon. We visited the trail earlier this year and it’s amazing how a change in seasons can make a park have such a different vibe! We arrived around eight in the morning and it was beautiful visiting an empty park!
As usual, the views up the peak were very beautiful and serene. When we visited last, there were immense layers of fog so it was pretty cool to see the trees without it this time around.
After our hike, we drove to In-N-Out to grab an early lunch. It ain’t California living if you ain’t eating these burgers!

January 22, 2019 at 9:11 PMYasss! It is always good to squeeze in some fun while you’re grinding things out at work and stuff!!! Ok, even though I am not a hiker, you making hiking seem super fun. THE VIEWSSS. Empty parks are the best. No one to photobomb your pics of having to be in your way. Wow, I love how the trees are just there AND THE SHORT ONES ARE SO CUTE LOL. Oh man, you two definitely deserved your In-N-Out right after. Now I am craving for one myself hahahah. Sending you and Chris warm vibes!!!!

January 28, 2019 at 7:12 PMHiking is something I consider luxury as I need both time and a hiking buddy which are not existing in my life atm. Good on you to be able to do this as often as you want. I miss In & Out burger, that’s the first thing I had the first time I set foot in Ca.

January 30, 2019 at 12:51 PMI actually love their food, I went there a bit too often when I was travelling California haha. The pictures are stunning, I still remember the photos with the heavy fog, the setting looks so different without it. Your posts always inspire me to be more outdoorsy and I would love to go back to California to go on a hike. xx
