Crazy Plant Lady

A few weeks back, I visited Sugar’s Succulents, a local succulent shop here in town! I absolutely adore succulents and visiting succulent shops is a favorite hobby of mine – imagine how excited I was when I found this hidden gem?!

I stopped by on a Monday morning after finishing grocery shopping and running errands. My original plan was to stop by and check out the succulents they had to offer but actually went home with three new babies! Bre (the owner) was very friendly and knowledgable about taking care of the succulents. They had several arrangements in store too and it was so beautiful that I actually put in a request to have them do my wedding favors.

I spent around twenty minutes looking at every plant before deciding to go home with the lithops (butt-ulents, kidding, living stone), baby’s toes and the medusa succulents – I never find these in big named supermarkets so it was exciting to see them! The lithops and baby’s toes cost more than the usual rosettes or cacti but they were worth it. I mean – how cute are they?!

Wow, looking at your photos I feel like I’ve died and gone to plant heaven! This place looks AMAZING. Also, what a great idea to ask about wedding favours! I’m not engaged and don’t expect to be any time soon, but I now want to steal this idea for my (hypothetical) wedding. Thank you so much for sharing this <3

Such a lovely post! I’ve been thinking of getting a few succulents. After reading this and your “succs to succ(ulent)” post, I’m pretty much convinced to just do it! I’d love to have these cute and pretty plants adorn our apartment.

They are very cute indeed. You made a great choice. This succulent shop sounds like a dreamy place. I’d love to do some shopping there as well. It’s great that the owner is friendly and knowledgeable. I love cacti and succulents of any kind really. They are easy to take care of and they look great in any home. I especially like to see them in modern homes for some reason.

I saw some cute mini succulents in a card/gift shop and I got all excited thinking I might get one for my room until I noticed they were plastic 🙁

Those are beautiful! I remember I bought cacti last year and tried raising it, but it was slowly withering. I don’t know how to take care of them, so I gave them to my mom to do the works. Hahahaha. I guess they survived. Anyhoo, those babies you bought are so cute! ♡

Hahaha OMG this is so cool! I am not too much of a plant person but I do like succulents and how aesthetic they look. If I am able to redo my work space in the way I want in the future, I definitely want to have some succulents in those glass geometric pots on my desk! I love how they’re so neatly organized too lol. Thanks for sharing Eena! xx
