Succs to succ(ulent)

December 17, 2016

Earlier this year, one of my dear classmates gave me a mint plant after studying for our summer finals. Long story short, the plant died. In an effort to save the pot, I talked Chris into getting some succulents and planting them with me! I now officially have a mini succulent garden – I’m obsessed.

The cacti are easily my favorites! I found this really funny cactus quote to live by – “life is like a cactus, full of pricks but very beautiful.”

After succulent and flower shopping, Chris and I grabbed a quick lunch at Qdoba. He’s not a fan of Mexican food (unless it’s a quesadilla) so I’m glad he was cool with eating there. ALSO, isn’t he the most handsome man ever? *heart eyes forever*

We spent the rest of the day repotting the plants and dying in traffic to pick up my younger brothers from school. California traffic, gotta love it.

Thank you thank you 🙂 I didn't get to try the nachos but my boyfriend enjoyed them so they must've been really good!

you inspire me to have my own succulents garden soon. I just hope they don't die on me right away like the daisies I had last summer :'(
